In Russia, with arrival on the market of firms-manufacturers of PVC of profiles for plastic windows, institute "Стройполимерматериалы" had been developed a technique of artificial ageing and profiles of PVC of different firms are tested.
Tests have been finished to 40 conditional years of operation and the loadings connected with it (influence of the sun, a wind, a rain, a frost etc.). Mechanical qualities of profiles of PVC remained thus within the norms supposing and the further operation of windows, and changes in colour were distinguishable only by means of optical devices, but not "approximately". It shows that the reached indicator of 40 conditional years is not limiting.
